Chapter 20

(20) Chapter. Removing the veil of a woman in a dream.

20- بَابُ كَشْفِ الْمَرْأَةِ فِي الْمَنَامِ:

English narration

Narrated by عائشة بنت أبي بكر الصديق

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said (to me), "You were shown to me twice in (my) dream. Behold, a man was carrying you in a silken piece of cloth and said to me, "She is your wife, so uncover her,' and behold, it was you. I would then say (to myself), 'If this is from Allah, then it must happen.' "

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "

أُرِيتُكِ فِي الْمَنَامِ مَرَّتَيْنِ ، إِذَا رَجُلٌ يَحْمِلُكِ فِي سَرَقَةٍ مِنْ حَرِيرٍ ، فَيَقُولُ : هَذِهِ امْرَأَتُكَ فَأَكْشِفُهَا ، فَإِذَا هِيَ أَنْتِ ، فَأَقُولُ : إِنْ يَكُنْ هَذَا مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ يُمْضِهِ
