كِتَاب الصَّلَاةِ
Chapter 5
(5) Chapter. If someone offers Salat (prayer) wrapped in a single garment, he should cross its corners round his shoulders.
5- بَابُ إِذَا صَلَّى فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ فَلْيَجْعَلْ عَلَى عَاتِقَيْهِ:
English narration
Narrated by أبو هريرة الدوسي
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "None of you should offer prayer in a single garment that does not cover the shoulders."
النص العربي
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "
لَا يُصَلِّي أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ لَيْسَ عَلَى عَاتِقَيْهِ شَيْءٌ
" .
