Abu Dawud · 1853حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ جَابَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الْجَرَادُ مِنْAbu Hurairah reported the Prophet ﷺ as saying “Locusts are counted along with what is caught in the sea (i. e., the game of the sea). ”5 narratorsAbu Dawud · 1854إِنَّمَا هُوَ مِنْ صَيْدِ الْبَحْرِAbu Hurairah said, We found a swarm of Locusts. A man who was wearing ihram began to strike it with his whip. He was told that his action was not valid.
