Chapter 17

Chapter: Regarding One Who Sends A Sacrificial Animal But Remains In Residence.

باب مَنْ بَعَثَ بِهَدْيِهِ وَأَقَامَ

English narration

Narrated by عائشة بنت أبي بكر الصديق

Aishah said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would send the sacrificial animals as offerings (to Makkah) from Madinah. I would twist the garlands of the sacrificial animals ; thereafter he would not abstain from anything from which a pilgrim putting on Ihram abstains.

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ الْهَمَدَانِيُّ ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، أَنَّ اللَّيْثَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَهُمْ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، وَعَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : "

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُهْدِي مِنْ الْمَدِينَةِ فَأَفْتِلُ قَلَائِدَ هَدْيِهِ ثُمَّ لَا يَجْتَنِبُ شَيْئًا مِمَّا يَجْتَنِبُ الْمُحْرِمُ

" .
