Bukhari · 1558قَدِمَ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ الْيَمَنِ ، فَقَالَ : بِمَا أَهْلَلْتَ ؟ , قَالَ : بِمَا أَهَلَّ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : 'Ali came to the Prophet (p.b.u.h) from Yemen (to Mecca). The Prophet (ﷺ) asked 'Ali, "With what intention have you assumed Ihram?" 'Ali replied, "I have assumed Ihram with the same intention as that of the Prophet."
