11- بَابُ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى: {يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ فَطَلِّقُوهُنَّ لِعِدَّتِهِنَّ وَأَحْصُوا الْعِدَّةَ}:(1) Chapter. The Statement of Allah: “O Prophet ! Bukhari · 5251أَنَّهُ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَسَأَلَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُthat he had divorced his wife while she was menstruating during the lifetime of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) . `Umar bin Al-Khattab asked Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) about that. The Prophet (ﷺ) was asked if she could legally marry the first husband (or not).
