Book 88: The Book of Ad-Diyait (Blood - Money)

كِتَاب الدِّيَاتِ

Chapter 23

(23) Chapter. If somebody peeps into the house of some people whereupon they poked his eye; he has no right to claim blood-money.

23- بَابُ مَنِ اطَّلَعَ فِي بَيْتِ قَوْمٍ فَفَقَئُوا عَيْنَهُ فَلاَ دِيَةَ لَهُ:

English narration

Narrated by أبو هريرة الدوسي

Abul Qasim said, "If any person peeps at you without your permission and you poke him with a stick and injure his eye, you will not be blamed."

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "

لَوْ أَنَّ امْرَأً اطَّلَعَ عَلَيْكَ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنٍ ، فَخَذَفْتَهُ بِعَصَاةٍ ، فَفَقَأْتَ عَيْنَهُ ، لَمْ يَكُنْ عَلَيْكَ جُنَاحٌ

" .
