كِتَاب اللِّبَاسِ

Chapter 18

(18) Chapter. Al-Burud (black decorated square garments that are worn by bedouins). And AI-Hibar (a green garment made is Yemen). And Ash-Shamla (a garment that is wrapped around the body).

18- بَابُ الْبُرُودِ وَالْحِبَرَةِ وَالشَّمْلَةِ:

English narration

Narrated by أنس بن مالك الأنصاري

The most beloved garment to the Prophet (ﷺ) to wear was the Hibra (a kind of Yemenese cloth).

حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : "

كَانَ أَحَبُّ الثِّيَابِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَلْبَسَهَا الْحِبَرَةَ

" .
