Hadith 3233

Book 59: The Book of The Beginning of Creation

كِتَاب بَدْءِ الْخَلْقِ

Chapter 7

(7) Chapter. "If anyone says Amin [during the Salat (prayer) at the end of the recitation of Surat Al-Fatiha], and the angels in heaven say the same, and the sayings of two coincide, all his past sins will be forgiven".

7- بَابُ إِذَا قَالَ أَحَدُكُمْ آمِينَ. وَالْمَلاَئِكَةُ فِي السَّمَاءِ، فَوَافَقَتْ إِحْدَاهُمَا الأُخْرَى، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ:

English narration

Narrated by عبد الله بن مسعود

Regarding the Verse "Indeed he (Muhammad) did see. Of the Signs of his Lord, The Greatest!" (53.18) That the Prophet (ﷺ) had seen a green carpet spread all over the horizon of the sky.

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ لَقَدْ رَأَى مِنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِ الْكُبْرَى سورة النجم آية 18 ، قَالَ : "

رَأَى رَفْرَفًا أَخْضَرَ سَدَّ أُفُقَ السَّمَاءِ

" .
