كِتَاب فَرْضِ الْخُمُسِ

Chapter 20

(20) Chapter. The food gained as war booty in the battlefield.

20- بَابُ مَا يُصِيبُ مِنَ الطَّعَامِ فِي أَرْضِ الْحَرْبِ:

English narration

Narrated by عبد الله بن عمر العدوي

In our holy battles, we used to get honey and grapes, as war booty which we would eat and would not store.

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : "

كُنَّا نُصِيبُ فِي مَغَازِينَا الْعَسَلَ ، وَالْعِنَبَ فَنَأْكُلُهُ ، وَلَا نَرْفَعُهُ

" .
