كِتَاب الْجِهَادِ وَالسِّيَرِ

Chapter 133

(133) Chapter. To say Takbir (Allahu Akbar Allah is the Most Great) on ascending a high place.

133- بَابُ التَّكْبِيرِ إِذَا عَلاَ شَرَفًا:

English narration

Narrated by جابر بن عبد الله الأنصاري

Whenever we went up a place we would say Takbir, and whenever we went down we would say, "Subhan Allah."

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : "

كُنَّا إِذَا صَعِدْنَا كَبَّرْنَا ، وَإِذَا تَصَوَّبْنَا سَبَّحْنَا

" .
