Chapter 3
(3) Chapter. To recite the Quran while lying in the lap of one’s own menstruating wife.
3- بَابُ قِرَاءَةِ الرَّجُلِ فِي حَجْرِ امْرَأَتِهِ وَهْيَ حَائِضٌ:
English narration
Narrated by عائشة بنت أبي بكر الصديق
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to lean on my lap and recite Qur'an while I was in menses.
النص العربي
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ ، سَمِعَ زُهَيْرًا ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ ابْنِ صَفِيَّةَ ، أَنَّ أُمَّهُ حَدَّثَتْهُ ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ حَدَّثَتْهَا ، "
أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَتَّكِئُ فِي حَجْرِي وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ ، ثُمَّ يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ
" .
