Chapter 51

(51) Chapter. Rinsing one’s mouth (with water) after eating As-Sawiq without repeating ablution.

51- بَابُ مَنْ مَضْمَضَ مِنَ السَّوِيقِ وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ:

English narration

Narrated by ميمونة بنت الحارث الهلالية

The Prophet (ﷺ) ate (a piece of) mutton from the shoulder region and then prayed without repeating the ablution.

النص العربي

وحَدَّثَنَا أَصْبَغُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو ، عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ ، "

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَكَلَ عِنْدَهَا كَتِفًا ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

" .
