كِتَاب الْجَنَائِزِ

Chapter 10

(10) Chapter. To start from the right side while giving a bath to a dead body.

10- بَابُ يُبْدَأُ بِمَيَامِنِ الْمَيِّتِ:

English narration

Narrated by أم عطية الأنصارية

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) , concerning his (dead) daughter's bath, said, "Start with the right side, and the parts which are washed in ablution."

النص العربي

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا , قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي غَسْلِ ابْنَتِهِ : "

ابْدَأْنَ بِمَيَامِنِهَا وَمَوَاضِعِ الْوُضُوءِ مِنْهَا

" .
