Abu Dawud · 1122كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ وَيَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ بِ سَبِّحْ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى و هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ ، قَالَ : وَرُبَّمَا اجْتَمَعَا فِي يَوْمٍ وَاحِدٍ فَقَرَأَ بِهِمَاAl-Numan bin Bashir said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite at the twoEidds (festivals) and on Friday, "Glorify the name of your most high Lord. " (87) and "Has the story of the overwhelming reached you?" He replied: He used to recite, "Had the story of overwhelming event reached you 5 narratorsAbu Dawud · 1124حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ بِلَالٍ ، عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ ، قَالَ : صَلَّى بِنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ، فَقَرَأَ بِسُورَIbn Abi Rafi said: Abu Hurairah led us in the Friday prayer and recited Surah al-Jumu'ah and "When the hypocrites come to you" (63) in the last rak'ah.
