Abu Dawud · 5151مَا زَالَ جِبْرِيلُ يُوصِينِي بِالْجَارِ ، حَتَّى قُلْتُ لَيُوَرِّثَنَّهُAishah reported the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Gabriel kept on commending the neighbor to me so that I thought he would make him an heir.6 narratorsAbu Dawud · 5152أَنَّهُ ذَبَحَ شَاةً ، فَقَالَ : أَهْدَيْتُمْ لِجَارِي الْيَهُودِيِّ ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : مَا زَالَ جِبْرِيلُ يُوصِينِي بِالْجَارِ ، حَتَّى ظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ سَNarrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As: Mujahid said that Abdullah ibn Amr slaughtered a sheep and said: Have you presented a gift from it to my neighbour, the Jew, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Gabriel kept on 5 narratorsAbu Dawud · 5153جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَشْكُو جَارَهُ ، فَقَالَ : اذْهَبْ فَاصْبِرْ , فَأَتَاهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ ، أَوْ ثَلَاثًا ، فَقَالَ : اذْهَبْ فَاطْرَحْ مَتَاعَكَ فِي الطَّرِيقِ , فَطَرَحَ مَتَAbu Hurairah said: A man came to the prophet ﷺ complaining against his neighbor. He said: go and have patience. He again came to him twice or thrice. He then said: Go and throw your property in the way. So he threw his p5 narratorsAbu Dawud · 5154مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ، فَلْيُكْرِمْ ضَيْفَهُ ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ، فَلَا يُؤْذِ جَارَهُ ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ، فَلْيَقُلْAbu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He who believes in Allah and in the last day should honour his guest; he who believes in Allah and in the last day should not harm his neighbor; he who believes i6 narratorsAbu Dawud · 5155يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّ لِي جَارَيْنِ بِأَيِّهِمَا أَبْدَأُ ؟ قَالَ : بِأَدْنَاهُمَا بَابًاAishah said: I asked: Messenger of Allah!
