Abu Dawud · 3035مَنَعَتْ الْعِرَاقُ قَفِيزَهَا وَدِرْهَمَهَا وَمَنَعَتْ الشَّامُ مُدْيَهَا وَدِينَارَهَا وَمَنَعَتْ مِصْرُ إِرْدَبَّهَا وَدِينَارَهَا ، ثُمَّ عُدْتُمْ مِنْ حَيْثُ بَدَأْتُمْAbu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying “Irqa will prevent its measure (qafiz) and dirham. Syria will prevent its measure (mudi) and dinar. Egypt will prevent its measure (ardabb) and dinar.
